Hello all,

Just returned on Saturday night from a 10-day European vacation, and I found some great locations for settings for stories. We went to Venice, Mykonos, Athens, Katacolon, Corfu Island, and Split, Croatia.

These settings all spurred great ideas in my head for seedy dealings in dark alleys, and group gatherings, and so on, and so forth. I think they can be tweaked accordingly to help me create a really unique settings (aren't they all based on real life?) and create a story accordingly. With strong characters, and a great plot, it will all come together.

I am really charged up after that trip, and we had a great time to boot!

WOOHOO!

Yes, they were really beautiful. My favorite was Mykonos, for a small, rustic, village feel (though there is a lot of activity there!).

My next favorite, for different reasons, was Athens. Huge city, with very large buildings. Fantastic. I really loved it.

That should be great inspiration. New and exciting places always help get a lazy Muse running. Good luck with making it all fit together, and happy writing!
